ORDERS

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our website.

Gourmet Cooking and Living accepts the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

All prices are subject to change without notice. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.

 

CLAIMS AND EXCEPTIONS

Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be filed within 24 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to reroute orders for timely delivery but cannot be responsible for damaged or compromised product due to the following:

Delayed deliveries due to weather or other "Acts of God"

Incorrect addresses

Unopened shipments

Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of goods.

 

UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS

We are not responsible for incorrectly entered shipping addresses or for changes of address. Please be sure that you are entering the correct address at checkout and to include applicable apartment or suite numbers. Notify us immediately if there is a change in address.

 

If an item is returned to us because you have entered an incorrect address or have moved, the item will not be resent at no cost to you as we already will have incurred the cost of shipping the package to you and the cost of shipping it back to us. If you would like the item resent, please contact us at (718) 355-9304 and we will quote you the cost of reshipment.

RETURNED SHIPMENTS

In the event that you are not able to receive your shipment during the attempted deliveries AND you did not pick up your shipment within the allotted period, your box will be shipped back to our fulfillment center at which point you have two options: You may either elect to pay a repackaging/reshipping fee to have your shipment repacked and resent to you, OR you may elect to have your account credited your monthly charge minus shipping and handling charges.

 

ADDRESS CHANGES/MEMBERSHIP EXTENSION & TERMINATION

Any changes to your account, such as address changes, membership extensions & terminations, must be made prior to the 10th of the month. Address changes made after that time may require a repackaging and reshipping charge. Direct requests by you or your gift recipient to the shipping carrier to reroute a shipment in transit or address corrections made by the carrier to the shipping address that you've provided may incur an additional processing fee.

PACKAGING

Your goods are packaged in secure cartons and each item is individually bubble wrapped to ensure protection. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.

PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS

Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within gift selections. We always compose gift selections with alternative products of equal or greater quality and value.

 

PRIVACY & SECURITY

All email addresses and personal information (such as name, address, credit card number, etc.) are transmitted in an encrypted form for your protection. All information is collected for our use only; Gourmet Cooking and Living protects this information both online and offline.

 

 

GIFT NOTES

A personalized gift note can be included with all of our products at no extra charge. Please be sure to include a signature.

 

 

MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BUYERS

We have the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify or amend any portion of this Terms and Conditions at any time by posting notification on the Gourmet Cooking and Living website or otherwise communicating the notification to you. The changes will become effective, and shall be deemed accepted by you, after the initial posting and shall apply on a going-forward basis with respect to payment transactions initiated after the posting date. In the event that you do not agree with any such modification, the sole and exclusive remedy is to terminate your use of the service.
