For the olive connoisseur, these gems are of the Apulian tradition. They have a firm, lush pulp that is sweet, buttery and slightly fruity with a low astringency. After manual harvesting, the olives are inspected individually and preserved in jars with water and salt. Best enjoyed as "Italian aperitif" to stimulate the appetite prior to a meal. Also delicious and elegant used as a garnish in cocktails. Can be marinated in extra virgin olive oil and your choice of herbs for a simple yet impressive appetizer. Complements goat cheese.
